Presenteres av Trondheim Calling
Culture Unstained is a research, advocacy, and campaign organization working to end fossil fuel sponsorship in the cultural sector. They’ve been instrumental in pushing major UK cultural institutions – including the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Portrait Gallery, and the Southbank Centre – to cut their ties with oil and gas companies.
At Trondheim Calling, founder Chris Garrard joins us to share insights and strategies from this work, as well as how it’s been received across the UK’s cultural sector. Together we’ll ask: What legitimacy do we give corporations when cultural institutions choose to partner with them – and how can we go about creating a culture beyond fossil fuels?
